Samsung Galaxy S23 vs Galaxy S23+: What the customers will get by paying Rs 20,000 extra

Samsung finally took the wraps off its flagship Galaxy S23 smartphones series. The company unveiled the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra on February 1 at the company’s first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year. Along with the three smartphones, Samsung also launched the Galaxy Book3 flagship laptop series at the same event.
Among the three smartphones the Samsung Galaxy S23 is the most affordable option, while the Galaxy S23+ is its expensive sibling and the Galaxy Ultra 23 is the most-expensive smartphone of the company.
Both Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ are powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and run Android 13 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of One UI 5.1.
The duo feature a triple rear camera which comprises of 50MP rear camera with LED Flash, 12MP Ultra Wide sensor and 10MP Telephoto lens. There’s also a 12MP front camera for selfies.
Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ comes with IP68 rating which makes both the smartphones dust and water-resistant. The smartphones also support wireless and reverse charging.
Coming to the price, the Samsung Galaxy S23 comes with a starting price tag of Rs 74,999, while the price of Galaxy S23+ starts at Rs 94,999. This means that users will have to shell out Rs 20,000 extra if they wish to purchase the Samsung Galaxy S23+.
