The Microsoft Store gets a turbo boost in new update, promising speedier and sleeker performance

[ad_1]

The Microsoft Store app has reportedly got a major performance upgrade that’s now available to all users. It doesn’t look like it brings any new features, but it does promise improved performance for the app.

The new and improved version was initially released through the Windows Insider Program in early April. The Windows Insider Program is a testing community run by Microsoft that allows interested Windows users and experts to try versions of the operating system and new features that Microsoft is working on. The new version of the Microsoft Store is now available in the ‘Stable Channel’ of the Windows Insider Program, the last round of testing before something is deployed in the Windows Update app for all users – which suggests that it could soon roll out to everyone.

Samsung’s stunning The Frame TV has been on my wish list for years – and it’s now more affordable than ever. Amazon just dropped the 75-inch model to $1,895 (was $2,997.99) – a whopping $1,102 discount and a new record-low price. It’s a fantastic deal, making it a must-buy if you’re in the market for the art-inspired QLED TV.

The 2022 Samsung The Frame TV can transform into a beautiful work of art when you aren’t watching TV and includes customizable bezels that allow you to select a style and color to match your home decor. It also delivers a stunning picture thanks to the QLED screen, combined with the anti-reflection technology and matte display film, which limits light distraction so your display can look good in the morning and at night. You also get smart capabilities powered by Samsung’s comprehensive Tizen platform and a slim-fit wall mount to hang your TV flush against the wall.

The latest macOS Ventura update has left owners of old Macs stranded in a sea of problems, raising a chorus of complaints

[ad_1]

Users of macOS Ventura, the predecessor to macOS Sonoma (the latest operating system for modern Macs and MacBooks), have discovered some problems after installing the newest update, macOS Ventura 13.6.6. The update was released on March 25 alongside Sonoma version 14.4.1. Apparently, those looking to upgrade macOS Ventura were met with firmware-related issues (firmware refers to software components that bridge a device’s hardware and software).

Ventura is the last macOS system that many older Mac models can run, as macOS Sonoma only supports Macs and MacBooks from 2018 onwards (the iMac Pro from 2017 is also supported), so updates for the older operating system are especially important for security and functionality reasons.

Bad Bots
Bad bots made up almost a third of all internet traffic last year

[ad_1]

Almost a third of all internet traffic registered in 2023 was generated by bad bots, a new report has claimed.

An internet bot is a piece of software that runs automated tasks on the internet, such as messaging, on a large scale. Bad bots, on the other hand, do all sorts of malicious activity, such as web scraping, account takeover, spam, or denial of service. They degrade online services and force businesses into higher investments in customer support and internet infrastructure.
