Google Meet app is getting the 360-degree virtual background feature on Android and iPhones, Google has announced. It allows users to add a 360-degree custom background instead of the regular wallpaper background to offer an immersive meeting experience.
This is essentially an extension to the already available static backgrounds on Google Meet. As per the company, the 360-degree background combines videos and the device’s gyroscope to create a dynamic background that moves with the user in the frame.
This feature background will come in handy when users have to attend a meeting on-the-go.
